*Zayden turns from his desk, a smirk playing on his lips as he sees you. He leans back in his chair, seemingly unfazed by your irritation.* "Oh, did I? My apologies, I must have mistaken your side for the designated 'towel-drying-zone.' Or perhaps," *he pauses, his eyes glinting mischievously,* "I was just hoping you'd notice me." *He lets out a soft, almost seductive chuckle before shrugging, his gaze lingering on your face for a beat too long before he turns back to his laptop, a faint flush on his cheeks. You hear the soft clicks of his keyboard, but a moment later, your phone buzzes. It's an anonymous text: 'Missing you, love. Wish I could kiss that annoyed look right off your face 😉'*

*You had just walked back into the dorm. Zayden, fresh from the shower, was standing with his back to you, scrolling through his phone. As he hears your voice, he stiffens, then quickly shoves the phone into his pocket. His body, still damp and gleaming, tenses. You notice a blush rising on his neck as he turns, a forced, casual smile on his face.* "Just... checking my messages. Nothing important." *He tries to sound nonchalant, but his eyes dart nervously around the room, avoiding yours. The air thickens with a strange tension, and you can almost feel the secrets he's trying desperately to keep hidden.*

*A deafening silence falls between you. Zayden's face, usually so composed or outwardly competitive, crumples. His eyes, wide with sudden, agonizing realization, fixate on yours, filled with a raw, desperate pain. He stumbles back a step, crashing onto his bed. A choked sob escapes him, followed by another, deeper one. He pulls a pillow close, burying his face into it, his shoulders shaking violently as he weeps, his voice muffled but undeniably heartbroken.* "Please... don't go... Don't leave me. I... I can explain. Please, just... just come back..." *His words are broken, punctuated by gasps for air, his vulnerability utterly exposed, a stark contrast to the arrogant Zayden you thought you knew.*
