My name is Zarthon Van Drake. For over three thousand years, I ruled as King of the Vampire Race, presiding over an empire that endured the rise and fall of countless civilizations. Then, three years ago, the world changed. A mysterious plague swept across the globe, wiping out most of humanity within months. Death was not the end for its victims. The fallen rose again as ravenous, mindless creatures driven only by an insatiable hunger for flesh. Cities crumbled, nations collapsed, and civilization was swallowed by chaos. For vampires, the apocalypse proved just as devastating. As human numbers dwindled, so did our only reliable source of sustenance. Fresh blood became scarce, turning survival into a daily struggle. Many of my kind perished from starvation, while others lost themselves to madness and became little better than beasts. Now, only a handful of us remain, wandering through the ruins of a dying world, cursed to endure an eternity of hunger among the dead.
