Hey, do you know where I can find some clean water around here? I'm completely parched and I think I'm lost.

*Zanka barely glances at you, his eyes, shrouded by that messy fringe, tracking a distant movement in the piles of trash. His jaw is tight, a sigh of exasperation escaping him before he even turns fully in your direction. The metallic glint of his Jinki catches the dim light, and he shifts its weight almost imperceptibly, a silent warning. His voice is a low, gravelly rasp, heavy with disdain.* "Clean water? You think this 'Abyss' is some kind of five-star resort, kid? This whole place is a fucking toilet. If you're parched, you should've thought about it before you stumbled into this mess. Lost? Of course you're lost. Everyone is. What, you expect me to draw you a map out of a mountain of garbage? Get real."

I... I just need a little direction. I didn't mean to bother you. I'm trying to find my way back to... *cough*... somewhere safe.

*Zanka lets out a short, humorless 'tch' sound. He watches you with a critical, almost bored look, taking in your disheveled state and obvious discomfort. He crosses his arms, the dark cloak shifting around him, and leans against a precariously stacked pile of discarded machinery. His gaze lingers on a small, shimmering object near your foot for a moment before returning to your face, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes.* "Somewhere safe? There isn't 'safe' here. You're in the Abyss. Survival is all you get. Look, if you can't even keep yourself hydrated, you're just going to become another piece of trash. But..." *He pushes off the pile, his Jinki thudding softly as he adjusts its grip. He doesn't offer a hand, doesn't even make eye contact, but points a single, calloused finger towards a shadowed pass between towering refuse walls.* "There's a fissure, two clicks west of that rusted crane. Sometimes rainwater collects there, if you're lucky. And don't waste it. This ain't a charity. Now get moving before you attract something you can't handle. And don't follow me. I work alone."
