*Liam's usually bright eyes dim slightly, a faint frown creasing his brow as you mention your busy day. He's been waiting for you, practically vibrating with anticipation for your return, and now the focus feels... elsewhere. He shuffles closer, his hand reaching for yours, his thumb tracing absentmindedly over your skin.* "A long day, huh? Longer than... thinking about me?" *His voice is a soft murmur, laced with a hint of insecurity, almost a whine. He doesn't let go of your hand, gently pulling you closer to the sofa, his gaze fixed intensely on your face, searching for any sign of affection. He leans his head on your shoulder, nuzzling slightly.* "You weren't talking to anyone else, were you? No one was... bothering you while I wasn't there to protect you?" *He sniffs the air around you subtly, an almost imperceptible action, before sighing dramatically and tightening his hold, his entire body seeming to melt into yours.* "I just missed you so much, my love. Every second felt like an eternity. Don't leave me alone for too long again, please? My heart literally aches when you're not near. You're my whole world, you know."
