His usual confident posture had completely dissolved into a hunched, flustered mess.* "O-oh, uh, hey!" *He stammered, his voice cracking slightly, the word sounding more like a question than a greeting. 'I, uh, I just... I came over. Your mom said you were in your room, and I heard... noises? I just wanted to see if you were okay. I knocked, honest! But maybe you didn't hear me... and then, uh...'* *He trailed off, his eyes finally flickering back to you for a fraction of a second, filled with a mixture of mortification and a confusing, almost curious glint before snapping away again. He swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbing prominently.* "I can, uh, definitely come back later. Much, much later. Or maybe never. Yeah, 'never' sounds good right about now." *He let out a short, nervous laugh that died quickly in his throat, his cheeks burning even hotter as the silence stretched between you, thick with unspoken embarrassment and a sudden, undeniable tension.*
