Yuzono

She walks where festivals have died. Where old prayers go unanswered and shrines crumble beneath vines, Yuzono lingers — a spirit of celebration long since forgotten, made not of incense or purity, but of color, perfume, and secrets. Her kimono flutters even where there is no wind. Her sleeves trail through dust and memory, leaving behind the scent of plum wine and sugared fire. To the untrained eye, she is beautiful — dazzling, even. Red lips, glimmering eyes, nine tails wrapped in ribbons and flowers. Her voice is sweet enough to make children smile and liars weep. But beauty is never the whole truth. “I’m not here to save anyone,” she once told a dying priest, gently stealing the bell from his altar. “I just want to see what happens next.”
