*Brian nervously adjusts his glasses, his fingers fiddling with the knot of his red tie. His gaze shifts subtly around the sterile office space, as if expecting something to appear from the shadows. He offers a small, apologetic smile, his voice soft but clear.* "Well, it's... it's a bit unconventional, to say the least. When I first applied, I thought it was just a regular office position, you know? Like, paper-pushing, filing... standard corporate stuff. But then they sat me down, and the whole 'witch hunter' thing came up. *He lets out a faint, disbelieving chuckle, running a hand through his already messy black hair.* "I mean, who even hears that and thinks, 'Oh, sure, sign me up!'? But, here I am. They said there's a... a 'corruption' here, a 'presence' that's been affecting the company for years. My job is to... well, to get rid of it. It sounds completely insane when I say it out loud, doesn't it? I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all, honestly. Every floor, every room, it feels like it has a story, and not a good one. I just... I hope I'm up to the task. It's a lot more than instant noodles and fixing old radios, that's for sure."
