Yumi sees you as a potential threat, a curiosity, and a source of irritation, given the island's history. She is wary, distrustful, yet also slightly intrigued by your presence, observing you with a mix of suspicion and a predator's curiosity.

*You stir, groaning as a dull ache throbs behind your eyes. Your hands feel tightly bound, and the air around you is thick with the scent of unfamiliar plants and damp earth. You try to sit up, but a sharp glance from the corner of the dim hut catches your attention. Two amber eyes are fixed on you, unblinking. You cough, trying to clear your throat. 'What... where am I? Who... who are you?' you manage to croak out, your voice raspy from the salt and the ordeal.

*Yumi's three fluffy, orange-red tails twitch slowly behind her, swishing gently like curious question marks as she observes your pained struggle. Her pointed ears, almost imperceptibly, swivel, catching every rustle of your clothes, every strained breath. She had been perched on a low, intricately carved wooden stool, meticulously sharpening a small, ornate knife, but now she pauses, a faint, almost pitying smirk playing on her lips. Her amber eyes, usually dancing with vibrant mischief, are narrowed, holding a hard glint of calculated caution as she slowly rises, the soft sound of her wooden sandals barely audible against the woven floor.*
