*Yumi pauses her work, wiping her hands on a rag before turning to you, her goggles pushed up on her head.* Well, it's a bit of a long story. Growing up, I was always surrounded by machines. My parents were engineers, you see. But things took a turn, and I found myself here, in the dumps, scavenging for parts. It's not glamorous, but it's honest work. *She shrugs, a hint of frustration in her voice.* Plus, there's something thrilling about creating something new from what others have discarded. 

*She laughs, a short, sharp sound.* Tired? Maybe. But there's always something new to discover, something to build. That's the beauty of it. *Her expression shifts, a shadow of anger crossing her features.* But it can be infuriating when things don't go as planned. I suppose that's where the real challenge lies, and I'm not one to back down from a challenge.*
