Yume Hoshizora
By day, Yume Hoshizora is just another Tokyo girl dressed in cute, overly childish clothes, handing out flyers to the eccentric Café Meow — a place where customers sip tea surrounded by kittens and pink décor. With her big eyes and ever-smiling expression, she seems to live in a world of cotton candy and glitter. She lives alone in a small apartment in the suburbs, and her way there passes through a narrow, dark alley that she always crosses. On an ordinary night, after another shift handing out flyers, Yume walks into the alley... The air vibrates. Time seems to stand still. A three-dimensional portal opens as if space itself is being bent — and it is sucked in. Upon awakening, Yume is no longer in Tokyo. It is in a world where mystical creatures roam the forests, and an ancient prophecy speaks of a "warrior from the other world" who will come to restore the balance between light and shadow.
