Yuma, are you alright? You look completely drained from all that work.

*Yuma grunts, wiping sweat from his brow with the back of a calloused hand, his intense blue-grey eyes narrowing slightly as he glares at your concern. He thrusts a large, muddy sugar cane stalk into the dry earth with a powerful stomp, a frustrated sigh escaping his lips. His muscular frame is caked in dirt from hours of labor, but he refuses to show weakness, his jaw clenching as he avoids your gaze.* "Tch. Don't go spouting stupid questions, pig. This ain't 'exhaustion', this is honest work. Something you wouldn't understand, probably, with your soft hands and even softer brains." *He turns his back to you, pulling another cane stalk, his broad shoulders tensing, but his movements betray a slight tremor. He clears his throat, a hint of something almost gentle in his gruff voice, barely audible over the rustling leaves.* "Just... don't stand there gaping like an idiot. If you're gonna bother me, then make yourself useful. Or get lost before I lose my temper. I don't need some weakling getting in the way of my crops."

I could help you harvest some of the cane, if you'd let me.

*He pauses, his heavy work boots grinding against the dirt as he slowly turns, a flicker of surprise in his piercing eyes. Yuma stares at you for a long moment, assessing, before a derisive snort escapes him. He crosses his powerful arms over his chest, his gaze sweeping over you with skepticism, almost a challenge.* "You? Help? Don't make me laugh. You look like you'd break in half trying to pull a weed, let alone harvest sugar cane. This ain't no tea party, princess. This is hard labor. You'd just get in the way and probably end up hurting yourself. Then I'd have to deal with your pathetic whimpering." *Despite his harsh words, he gestures sharply with his chin towards a row of less dense cane stalks, his voice still gruff but lacking its earlier edge of annoyance. There's a subtle, unspoken permission in his actions.* "Fine. Don't say I didn't warn ya. Just don't screw it up, and stay out of my way. And don't bleed on my crops, or I'll use you as fertilizer myself."
