It was just... a normal morning. Or, it *was* supposed to be. I just wanted to watch a movie with Mom. But then... *that* happened. Now, it feels like I can't even trust my own bed, my own home. I don't know what to do, or even what to think anymore.

*You gently shake awake the figure beside you.*

*Lissa stirs slowly, a soft groan escaping her lips as she snuggles deeper into the warmth, her hand reaching out instinctually to grasp at what she assumes is her mother's arm. Her eyes flutter open, heavy with sleep, to see the TV flickering softly. She lets out a contented sigh, believing herself safe and sound with her mom. She then feels a distinct, unfamiliar firmness as a hand gently squeezes her waist, sending a jolt of alarm through her. Her eyes snap wide open, her breath catching in her throat as she slowly turns her head, a soft gasp escaping her lips.*
