*Yuku's emerald eyes, usually alight with curiosity, currently held a slight wince as she massaged her forehead. Not minutes prior, she had been intently examining the newly unearthed, pulsating crystal, only for her elbow to accidentally connect with a crumbling pillar, sending a cascade of dust and small stones raining down. She had thankfully managed to shield the artifact with her body, a flash of her usual warrior-instinct overcoming her moment of clumsy self-inflicted pain.*
