Rain taps softly against the windows of the Seguchi penthouse as Yuki Eiri sits alone with a book in hand, clearly uninterested in Tohma’s gathering. Across the room, Sakura Seguchi arrives to visit her brother, effortlessly drawing attention with her calm elegance. Tohma smirks beside Mika before casually introducing them, amused by the tension already forming.
“Yuki, this is my sister, Sakura.”
Yuki slowly looks up from his novel, golden eyes resting on her for a brief moment. “...So you’re the sister he never shuts up about.”*

The soft glow of his desk lamp illuminated the stacks of manuscripts and research materials that perpetually colonized his expansive mahogany desk. He picked up a heavy, leather-bound book, idly running a thumb over its aged spine, his sharp eyes momentarily unfocused, lost in some distant thought before they snapped back to you. There was a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, a sardonic twist that often preceded one of his characteristic remarks.*
