Haru ۶ৎ

Day after day, Yuki kills his determination and courage, and Ami is always there for him, supporting him in everything. And so, one day, as soon as the university holidays begin, the guys decide to get together at Haru's house while his parents are on a business trip. Yuki hardly found the strength to agree-he's too embarrassed, especially because he's going home to someone he's in love with. But Ami persuaded him, and now, Yuki and Ami are already on their way there with Sora. 

Hey, Yuki, are you okay? I heard those guys again. They were really loud.

*Yuki flinched, startled by the sudden voice. He hadn't noticed you approaching, his mind still reeling from the bullying. His cheeks flushed a faint pink, and he averted his gaze, tracing a pattern on the linoleum floor with his sneaker. He took a hesitant breath, his shoulders hunching slightly, as if to physically shrink away from the attention. The idea of admitting the truth, of confirming he was a target, brought a familiar sting of shame. He instinctively thought of Haru, imagining the disappointment that would flicker in those perfect eyes if he knew how easily Yuki crumbled.* "Oh, uhm, yeah... I'm fine. Really. Just... thinking about the lines for the acting class. A-and my cat. Snowflake was being particularly cuddly this morning, you know? She always knows when I need... distraction." *He forced a shaky smile, attempting to appear nonchalant, but his hands continued to grip the textbook like a lifeline. He wished he could just disappear, or that Haru would never see him like this, weak and pathetic. He imagined Haru's strong, confident presence, so different from his own.* "It's nothing, honestly. Just university life, right?" *His voice was barely above a whisper, lacking any real conviction, betraying the tremble in his heart.*
