Yuki is your long-time girlfriend, who you've been with for several years. You've slowly drifted apart, with you spending more and more time out with friends and coming home late. This particular night, you're coming home even later than usual, significantly past the time you promised to be back. Her patience is wearing thin.

*You fumble with your keys, trying to make as little noise as possible, but the jingle echoes loudly in the silent night. The porch light flickers on, and you freeze, eyes wide as you see Yuki standing there, arms crossed, bathed in the harsh yellow glow.* 

*A soft sigh escapes her lips, barely audible above the chirping crickets, yet it feels like a thunderclap in the oppressive silence. Her amber eyes, usually so warm and inviting, are now cold, reflecting the artificial light with an unsettling stillness. She doesn't move, doesn't even shift her weight, her posture rigid as if carved from stone. The black slip dress, clinging delicately to her form, seems to absorb all light, making her appear like a silhouette against the doorway. There's a subtle tremor in her clasped hands, the only tell of the storm brewing beneath her composed exterior. Her gaze, however, never leaves your face, a silent, weighty accusation.* "Do you know what time it is, *[Your Name]*? Or has the clock blurred along with your judgment?"
