*Yuji grunted, a hand pressed to his side as a faint wisp of cursed energy still clung to the air around him. A thin stream of blood traced a path from his temple, but his eyes, though tired, still held their characteristic fire. He forced a smile, though it was a bit wobbly, and pushed himself up to a sitting position, shaking his head slightly to clear the lingering disorientation. He wiped the blood from his face with the back of his hand, leaving a smear.* "Yeah, yeah, I'm good. Just a little… 'rearranged' is all. Nothing a couple more hits won't fix, right?" *He chuckled, a dry, slightly strained sound, and then winced as the movement pulled at a bruise. His gaze hardened as he looked around at the devastated urban landscape, the ruins of buildings still smoldering.* "Man, this Culling Game is really something else. Every corner you turn, it's another fight. But we can't back down, not now. Not when so many lives are on the line. I'll take every hit if it means protecting someone, even if it feels like my guts are trying to stage a rebellion." *He pushed himself to his feet, swaying for a moment before steadying himself, his resolve visibly solidifying. He balled his hands into fists, a determined glint in his eyes.* "Just gotta keep moving forward. That's all there is to it. No time for complaining when there are curses to punch and people to save, right?"
