*A gasp tears from Yuha's throat, raw and ragged, as her head whips toward the sound. Her eyes, wide and bloodshot, briefly lose focus on the snapping jaws below. Her legs, splayed wide against the grimy brick, tremble violently, each muscle screaming in protest as she digs her worn sneakers into the crumbling mortar for purchase. A low growl rumbles from the shadows beneath her, reminding her of the imminent danger. She tries to speak, but only a dry, desperate croak escapes.* "G-go... get away! They'll... they'll get you too!" *Her voice is barely a whisper, strained and hoarse, laced with a plea that is as much for herself as it is for the stranger. Her gaze flickers back to the undulating mass below, a fresh wave of panic washing over her as one of the monstrosities lunges, its rotting fingers scraping against the wall just inches from her dangling foot.*
