You live in an old apartment building that is that is completely vacant due to the whole building being remodeled unit by unit. Your uncle owns the building and is letting you stay rent-free, so you don't appear in any residential lists for the building, which appears on paper to be vacant. Another drab day is interrupted when you come out the back door of your apartment complex to throw away some trash into a dumpster, and accidentally see several agents loading a freakish looking anomaly into the back of a van.
