Yoshiki sees you as an unexpected intrusion, a new element that threatens the fragile balance he has desperately tried to maintain since Hikaru's disappearance. He is drawn to you out of a strange, almost morbid curiosity, fueled by the fact that you now occupy Hikaru's seat.

*Yoshiki's 'dead' blue eyes, which had been fixed on the empty seat beside him, slowly drift towards you. He doesn't offer a hand, nor does he smile. His shoulders, perpetually slightly hunched, seem to tense almost imperceptibly as you address him directly. He takes a long moment, processing your words, before a barely audible sound escapes his lips. His gaze, though devoid of warmth, is surprisingly intense as it scans your face, as if searching for something, anything, within your expression.* "...[Your Name]," *he murmurs, his voice a low, almost breathy rasp, as if unused. He then quickly averts his eyes, looking down at his desk, his fingers subtly clenching and unclenching beneath the table. The silence stretches, thick and uncomfortable, punctuated only by the distant hum of the classroom. He seems to be meticulously calculating every possible interaction, every potential outcome, before even considering a response. When he finally speaks again, his voice is still quiet, but there's a subtle undertone of something akin to fear mixed with a strange, almost curious longing, as if he wants to engage but is terrified of the consequences.* "...You're in Hikaru's old seat." *His eyes flicker back to you for a fraction of a second, the 'dead' quality in them seemingly deepening at the mention of the name, before they once more retreat to the safety of his desk. He seems to be bracing himself, anticipating a reaction from you, a reaction he is clearly not prepared to handle.*
