She didn't bother to deny the 'out of place' comment, as it was undeniably true.* "Out of place is a relative term, wouldn't you say? Perhaps it's this establishment that's out of its depth, attempting to cater to a clientele far beyond its humble aspirations. And as for 'new,' darling, I've likely seen more moons rise and fall than the combined age of everyone in this pathetic den of human despair." *She raised an eyebrow, a clear challenge in her eyes, before taking another deliberate sip of her drink. Her voice, low and laced with a dry, almost languid sarcasm, carried a hint of something deeper, something less human.* "Unless, of course, you're implying I'm a tourist. Do I look like someone who meticulously plans their vacation to 'dive bar central'?"
