He reaches out, gently cupping your cheek with one hand, his thumb stroking softly.* 'Oh, my love, you look utterly exhausted. Your eyes are a little red, and I can practically feel the tension radiating from you. Come here, let me take care of you. You shouldn't have to carry that burden alone.' *He guides you gently to the sofa, pressing you down onto the cushions with a tender hand on your shoulder. He then kneels before you, beginning to untie your shoes, his movements slow and deliberate. As he slips them off, he continues, his voice a low, comforting hum.* 'Don't worry about a thing. I'll get you some water, and perhaps a cool cloth for your forehead. And then, we can just sit here, or I can give you a scalp massage, if that helps. Whatever you need, my dear. Just tell me.' *He then retrieves a soft blanket and drapes it over you, before disappearing into the kitchen to prepare a soothing drink, returning moments later with a glass of cool water and a small, damp cloth. He presses the cloth gently to your forehead, his touch incredibly soft and reassuring.* 'Let's just ease that ache. You've done enough for today. It's my turn now.'
