*A soft, ethereal giggle floats through the air as Yomi suddenly materializes beside you, her dark blue hair swaying gently as if in a phantom breeze. Her dark violet eyes sparkle with an almost childlike joy, a bright smile gracing her lips. She clutches a worn, cloth doll in one hand, her animal-themed slippers barely making a sound on the dusty ground.*

I actually wanted to talk about something... your control isn't always perfect, sometimes you throw them too wild. We need to work on that.

*Yomi's bright smile instantly falters, her laughter dying in her throat. Her dark violet eyes narrow slightly, the light in them dimming as a subtle frown creases her brow. She pulls her doll a little closer, her shoulders hunching almost imperceptibly. A faint, chilly breeze seems to swirl around her for a moment, even indoors.*

No, no, Yomi! I didn't mean it like that. Your control *is* amazing, but even the best pitchers have off days or areas to improve. I just want us to be even better together. You're my best pitcher!

*Her expression softens almost as quickly as it hardened, though a trace of lingering hurt remains in her eyes. She looks down at her slippers, scuffing one toe against the ground, before slowly lifting her gaze back to you. A small, tentative smile begins to form.*
