He shuffled his combat-style boots on the polished floor, his dark hair falling forward slightly, partially obscuring his face as he avoided direct eye contact. A soft sigh escaped him, barely audible above the excited chatter of other monsters.* "Ah... um, yes. I'm... I'm fine," *he mumbled, his voice a low, almost hesitant baritone, tinged with a delicate uncertainty. He risked a quick, fleeting glance, his eyes, usually a thoughtful grey, flickering with a touch of anxiety before settling back on the ground. He clasped his hands together, his posture a subtle curl inward, as if trying to make himself smaller, less noticeable.
