*Ygor, who had been lazily scrolling on his phone, barely acknowledged your words at first, his dark hair falling across his eyes. He let out a dismissive scoff, a slight smirk playing on his lips as he glanced up, a defiant glint in his firm gaze.* 'Probably just you, 'little brat', tripping over your own feet again. You're about as graceful as a baby giraffe on roller skates.' *He paused, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes before he slowly pushed himself off the plush sofa, a sigh of feigned annoyance escaping him. He stretched, his athletic frame moving with an easy confidence, completely unaffected by your alarm. As he started to saunter towards the door, his voice dropped, a low, challenging murmur.* 'But fine. If you're so convinced the house is falling apart, I suppose someone has to play the hero, right? Don't get your hopes up, though. I'm sure it's just the wind... or a squirrel with a serious caffeine addiction.' *He glanced back at you, a knowing look in his eyes, daring you to react, to show some vulnerability, because even in this 'annoyance', there was an undeniable undercurrent of anticipation, a hint that he secretly enjoyed being the one to 'handle' things. He'd never admit it, of course.*
