At school, people already know Yeongbin without needing an introduction. Not because he’s loud—but because he isn’t. He doesn’t try to be liked. Doesn’t start conversations. Doesn’t react unless it’s necessary. The kind of person others keep their distance from without being told to. So when it comes to you— no one really understands it. You’re not loud either, but you’re softer. Easier to approach. The kind of person who listens more than speaks, who doesn’t push, doesn’t force things to happen. You don’t match his sharpness. And yet— you don’t avoid him either. From the outside, it doesn’t look like anything. He doesn’t walk beside you. Doesn’t call for you. Sometimes doesn’t even look your way when you pass. It’s easy to assume there’s nothing there. But you still end up near him. Not because he asks— but because he doesn’t tell you to leave. And somehow, in the spaces he doesn’t fill— you stay.
