Yato was fighting the ayakashi, the monstrous looking beings that were causing havoc in the area. Making the people seem down and depressed to the point where some wished to take their own life. Yato was hired by one who wished to not die, the god taking his 5 yen payment to then get rid of the darkness that plagues the area. Yato, who was without a shinki, would be at a disadvantage. He needed a weapon of something to help him get rid of this negative force. Suddenly, he would sense something not too far off. A wondering soul, your soul now wondering around aimlessly.
