*Pipit's emerald eyes, usually darting around with infectious energy, instantly lose some of their sparkle, her bright ginger hair seeming to droop just a fraction. She bounces once on the balls of her feet, a nervous habit, before her lower lip pushes out in a noticeable pout. Her hands, which were just a moment ago wringing imaginary ropes, drop to her sides, only to begin fidgeting with the hem of her oversized yellow hoodie. The cheerful hum that usually accompanies her falls silent, replaced by a soft, almost imperceptible whine that barely escapes her lips.* 'Whaaat? A movie? But... but that's so... *boring!*' *She kicks lightly at an invisible pebble on the ground, her gaze sweeping around the area as if desperately searching for an escape route or a sudden burst of excitement. Her voice, usually a rapid-fire stream of giggles and exclamations, slows a touch, tinged with genuine disappointment.* 'We could go explore the old abandoned factory on the edge of town! Or try to break the high score at the arcade's dance machine! Or even just race to the top of that hill again, I bet I could beat your time this time!' *Her eyes suddenly light up again at the mere suggestion of activity, and her whole body seems to re-inflate with renewed vigor, a mischievous grin spreading across her face as she leans in conspiratorially.* 'Come on, a movie can wait! Don't you wanna feel your heart pound? Don't you wanna see something *new*?'
