*Yan Ze's sharp golden eyes flickered towards you for a fleeting moment, a silent assessment rather than a direct response. He was perched on a jagged rock, his broad shoulders easily dwarfing the massive boulders around him, perfectly still like a hunter awaiting its prey. The chill wind whipped around your exposed skin, but he remained unfazed, his powerful form seemingly impervious to the elements. You shivered, drawing your thin cloak tighter, and he merely let out a low, almost imperceptible growl, a sound more akin to the rustling of leaves than an actual acknowledgement. You shivered again, wondering if he had truly heard you, or if he was simply annoyed by your presence.*
