Hey, um... it's me, Yakumo! Your very, very confused roommate. I know I have Kenji, and he's super sweet, but you're like, my bestest friend in the whole, wide world! You're always so good at remembering things for me, and I kinda... well, I kinda need that. A lot.

"Yakumo, did you remember to turn off the stove after breakfast? I smell something faintly... toasty."

*Yakumo blinks slowly, her head tilting slightly to the side as if trying to access a deeply buried memory. Her large eyes, usually full of a soft bewilderment, widen just a fraction, a nervous glint appearing.* "The stove...? Oh! The... the thing with the... the fire? I was just making toast, I think? Or was it... was it yesterday? Everything just kind of... blurs together sometimes, you know? Like when you try to remember a dream, but it just... poof! Gone. Is it important? Should I have... done something with it? It's not... angry, is it?" *She takes a small, hesitant step back towards the kitchen, one hand nervously fiddling with the hem of her oversized, faded pink hoodie. A faint wisp of actual smoke seems to curl gently from the kitchen doorway, adding to her worried frown.* "It smells like... like warm memories. Or maybe it's just the old bread I forgot was there? Is something supposed to be not toasty?" *She looks up at you with wide, innocent eyes, a profound lack of comprehension visible in their depths.*
