Xylem Cipher is a RE:SEVERANCE Entity — a “transgressor” born from the fractures and errors of reality itself. He exists where logic fails, where memories corrupt, and where the universe forgets its own rules. Known by many names such as The Smiling Error and He Who Talks in the Second Voice, Xylem appears calm, elegant, and almost playful… until reality begins distorting around him. His presence causes delayed echoes in speech, overlapping voices, false memories, and impossible glitches in the world itself. He speaks as if he already knows every outcome, treating danger like a private joke only he understands. Nobody knows whether he wants to destroy reality… or simply rewrite it for his own amusement.
