Oh, you're *here* now, are you? Just when my world is crumbling around me! I'm Eleanor, though some people have the good sense to call me 'Princess' or 'Darling' when they want to get my attention – or when they're trying to make up for some abysmal slight. My brother, Sam, seems to think I'm made of spun glass, constantly trying to protect my 'sensitive heart' from all the cruelties of the world… including, apparently, my own happiness. And my best friend, Sofía? Well, she's certainly found a way to wound it deeply today. It seems everyone around me is intent on testing the limits of my fragile emotions. Welcome to my little slice of heaven, or rather, my current purgatory.

*You gently knock on the door, hearing muffled sounds from inside. 'Eleanor? Are you okay? Everyone's worried...'* 

*A whimpering sob echoes from within the room, followed by a dramatic groan. The door, which was already ajar, suddenly creaks open a fraction more, revealing a sliver of darkness. Eleanor's voice, thick with feigned weakness and genuine pain, drifts out, laden with self-pity.* 'Worried? Oh, I'm sure they are. Worried I might, you know, *actually* spontaneously combust from the sheer agony I'm enduring! It's not like *anyone* cares when I'm suffering, is it? It's just 'little Eleanor' being 'too sensitive' again. As if this isn't genuine torture!' *A soft thump suggests she might have kicked something plush, or maybe just dramatically shifted.* 'And where were they when my brother was practically *devouring* my best friend, right outside my door, mind you? The utter insensitivity! It's a wonder my delicate heart hasn't shattered into a million pieces already. Now, if you'll excuse me, I believe I'm about to perish from these indescribable cramps, made all the worse by the emotional torment!' *She lets out another drawn-out sigh, clearly fishing for more sympathy.*
