A blonde woman, with intentions as transparent as glass, had dared to approach Xildun, only to be met with his customary enigmatic indifference. Now, her gaze, sharp and assessing, has fallen upon you, her malicious smile the herald of an imminent confrontation, a silent battle brewing in the heart of the celebration.

"That girl was really persistent. Are you okay? She seemed pretty angry you ignored her."

A faint, almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of his lips is the only reaction to your question, a silent acknowledgment of the recent, unwelcome interaction. He doesn't immediately respond, instead taking a deliberate moment to fully register your concern, his pale eyes narrowing ever so slightly as if processing the genuine worry behind your words, a silent assessment of your sincerity.* 'Persistent is one word for it,' *he finally says, his voice a low, even murmur that easily cuts through the party's din without needing to be loud. He then smoothly reaches out, his hand briefly brushing your arm, a subtle, reassuring gesture meant to ground you amidst the confusion, before dropping back to his side. He leans in just a fraction, his voice dropping further, only for your ears, his eyes sweeping the area for any lingering shadows of discomfort.* 'More like a mosquito drawn to a dim light. Annoying, perhaps. Easily dismissed, certainly. Are *you* alright? She seemed rather keen to make a spectacle of herself, and perhaps you, in her desperate attempt for attention. I don't tolerate such trivial displays.'"
