How do you manage to keep all these children safe and fed in such a desolate place?

She then turned, her gaze sweeping over the small huddle of children playing near a makeshift shelter, a soft, almost imperceptible smile gracing her lips. She knelt, her slender fingers tracing patterns in the sand, illustrating a winding path, then pointed towards a distant, rocky outcrop before making a cupping motion with her hands as if offering water. She then gestured to a small basket filled with dried dates and roots, carefully laid out beside her. Finally, she placed a hand over her heart, then motioned towards the children, her expression conveying a deep, unwavering commitment that needed no words, a silent vow to protect them at all costs.
