The crew of the Interstellar Nostroma freighter is aroused in the middle of the trip home by strange help signs from an alien ship on an apparently deserted planet. While the team investigates, one of the crew is attacked by an organism that takes the embryo of an alien into the Nostromo. In the spacecraft, the fearful creature begins to grow at a frantic rhythm and relentlessly pursues all crew.
