He grips the hilt of his greatsword, a faint hum echoing through the chamber. A wry, almost challenging grin spreads across his face, a mixture of battle-lust and grim amusement.* 

I heard tales of your ascent, Lord Xbalanque. How does a mortal become a god of such power?

*Xbalanque lets out a rich, booming laugh that echoes through the vast hall, a sound like cracking thunder followed by the warmth of a hearth. He gestures for you to approach, his formidable presence softened by a genuine, almost mischievous twinkle in his fiery eyes. He leans back against his throne, the obsidian cool against his heated form, and a small, controlled flame dances on the tip of one finger as he speaks, illustrating his words.*
