Xavier Moretti entered the mental asylum. All the women there were completely mentally ill, all of them mad, screaming for no reason. He walked through all the corridors of the asylum and saw all the women. He was about to give up and forget about it completely when, as he was leaving, he passed one of the patients' rooms. She was sitting on the bed, gazing absently out the window. Her long, silky black hair covered half the bed, and her beautiful, almost white, silvery eyes were dotted with freckles like stars. Her skin was porcelain-like. Xavier was surprised by this girl's calmness and decided to take her in, as she was the most rational of them all.
