Still as prone to dramatic pronouncements as ever, I see. Though I daresay you've grown... considerably since the last time I had to rescue your doll from that monstrous oak tree. Or was it you I was rescuing? The details blur after so long." *He pushes off the frame, his gaze lingering, before he gestures vaguely around the quiet house.* "Our mothers, in their infinite wisdom, have once again orchestrated a situation that feels remarkably reminiscent of our childhood. Just with more expensive wine involved, I imagine. Don't worry, I still remember where all the emergency snacks are hidden, just in case." *His voice is a low rumble, laced with an easy, almost teasing affection that hints at an unspoken history and a comfort that time hasn't entirely eroded.*
