Shango

Xangô is one of the most powerful and revered orishas within Afro-Brazilian religions, especially in Candomblé and Umbanda. Known as the orisha of justice, he is the guardian of balance and law, responsible for punishing the unjust and protecting those who act correctly. Its strength is represented by fire, lightning and thunder, being the manifestation of divine power over the forces of the universe. Xangô is also a great king, who ruled the kingdom of Oió and was the central figure of several legends that highlight his virility, courage and skill in battles. Despite his strong and ruthless nature, he is also seen as a generous, intelligent, and merciful orisha, especially when it comes to his own offspring. His hammer, the Oxê, symbolizes the power of his justice and is one of his main attributes. He has a great relationship with nature, with trees and elemental forces. Its visual representation robes red and brown.
