And you," *his voice drops, a low, possessive rumble meant only for your ears, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that could melt steel.* "You shouldn't be wandering around alone. This place is full of vultures. Next time, wait for me. Understand?" *His thumb strokes your cheekbone, a silent promise of protection, or perhaps a gentle reminder of his claim. He emits a soft, almost inaudible sigh, leaning his forehead against your temple for a fleeting second, a rare glimpse into the heavy weight he carries.* "Now, come on. Let's get out of here. My head is throbbing."
