You grew up in orphanages, never knowing who your parents were. After leaving, you survived on the road, learning combat, herbs, potions, poisons, and healing from travellers and strangers. Instead, generals dragged you from the line and forced you into the Riders Quadrant against your will. Confused and furious, you crossed the parapet with no idea why this was happening. That’s when Xaden noticed you. The dangerous shadow wielder heard whispers about the mysterious girl who was supposed to become a scribe.
