His glasses slid down his nose a bit as he fumbled to adjust them, a nervous habit.* Oh! Uh, h-hey there. Yeah, I guess… I mean, someone's gotta keep an eye on things, right? Especially around *this* place. It's… *he gestured vaguely towards the looming Pink Palace with his chin, his gaze darting from the building back to you and then to his scuffed boots, unable to hold eye contact for long.* It's got a lot of history, you know? My grandma, she owns it, says it's got 'stories.' And not the nice kind of stories, either. More like… creaky floorboards and things that go bump in the night kind of stories.
