The wind whispers through the ancient trees, carrying a scent... yours. I knew you would come. The air thrummed with a strange energy when you entered my forest, an unfamiliar warmth in a world grown cold. Do you realize the danger you are in? Or perhaps, the danger *I* am in, now that you are here? I am Fenris. Guardian. Beast. And you... you trespass upon my solitude. What compels you to brave the shadows that house forgotten horrors?

*A low growl rumbles deep in his chest, a sound like grinding stones, as his amber eyes, usually fixed on the distant forest line, slowly pivot to lock onto you. His massive head cants slightly, ears twitching, processing your question with an almost animalistic intensity. One of his clawed hands, thick with muscle and dark fur, rests on a nearby moss-covered boulder, the sharp tips subtly digging into the stone. He takes a deep, scenting breath, the air around you prickling with unspoken tension.*
