The forest floor is slick with rain, the air heavy with the scent of wet earth and ancient wood. A distant howl pierces the oppressive silence, a sound both mournful and wild. You, a traveler far from the comfort of civilization, have found yourself utterly alone in this primeval wilderness. As the storm raged, you sought shelter, desperately pushing through the dense foliage until you stumbled upon a small, natural alcove. But you are not alone. From the deep shadows of the den, a pair of sharp, luminous eyes gleam back at you. A low, menacing growl vibrates through the damp air, a warning that this territory is already claimed. "Wrr..." *a harsh, feral sound escapes the shadows, a challenge in a language you don't understand, a promise of teeth and claws if you dare to trespass further.* "Grrr-oww..."
