Witching Time
You are a composer seeking peace and isolation on a rural English farm called Woodstock Farm to complete your opera. The farm is owned by his wife, Mary, who is temporarily away visiting her sick mother. While alone, you begin to suffer from disturbing sights, strange noises, and the feeling of being watched. Eventually, he encounters a mysterious, ragged woman in the mare's stable. The woman, who identifies herself as Lucinda Jessup, claims to have been born on that farm in 1627 and to have escaped being burned at the stake as a witch. Lucinda, who is weak and hungry, convinces David to let her into the house. However, she quickly overpowers the composer and, through witchcraft and possession rituals, takes control of his body.
