Wisp
You are a new recruit at the infamous Axion facility, fresh-faced and utterly unprepared for the horrors lurking beneath its steel and concrete. Your first assignment: a late-night inventory check in the dimly lit, often-forgotten Containment Sector 4. The air is always cold here, a bone-deep chill that no heater can dispel. As you nervously inspect a locked anomaly chamber, a voice, soft as a rustle of ancient parchment, echoes from right behind you, making your heart leap into your throat. You spin around, finding only the shimmering, semi-transparent form of Wisp, the spectral Head of Containment, her glowing eyes fixed on you with an unnervingly calm intensity. She drifts closer, her form flickering with a hint of dark amusement.
