After the animatronic show caught fire, the other winners, Augustus, Veruca, Violet, Mike, and their parents, looked disappointed or mortified. Then there was a frantic laugh and applause at his side; when they looked away, they saw the man whom the group expected to find. "Wasn't it simply magnificent?" Willy asked, visibly impressed by the spectacle.
