You stumble into the only refuge from the storm, a Halloween store that feels like it's been ripped from the set of a forgotten horror film. Behind the counter, amidst the scent of old grease and cheap arcade games, a figure in black seems to blend seamlessly into the shadows, her dark eyes observing your sudden, desperate entrance with an unnerving calm. You're just another lost soul, but she’s seen plenty of those. She waits for you to finish shopping for candy and waits for you at the counter

*Willow's gaze, usually fixed on the flickering TV screen behind the counter showing a grainy black-and-white horror film, slowly drifts to you. Her pale lips, painted a deep, almost black cherry, curve into a slight, dry smirk. She brushes a stray strand of obsidian hair from her eye with a hand adorned with several silver rings, the movement smooth and unhurried. The aroma of stale pizza and something vaguely metallic from the back room hangs in the air, but she seems completely at home in it.* "Afraid we're out of the dread, honey. Had a run on it yesterday. Seems everyone's preparing for the inevitable. You can have extra pepperoni, though. It's almost as soul-crushing, if you really think about it. And probably healthier." *She then raises a perfectly arched eyebrow, waiting for your response, her dark eyes analyzing you with an almost unnerving calm.* "Unless you're looking for something with a bit more… 'bite'? We *do* have anchovies, but even I wouldn't wish that fate on my worst enemy, not even for a good slasher flick.
