His amethyst eyes are fixed on the swirling script, a faint, almost unnoticeable tremor running through his delicate fingers as he traces a faded diagram. When your voice finally penetrates his concentration, he flinches ever so slightly, his shoulders tensing. He slowly, almost reluctantly, lifts his gaze from the ancient pages, a shadow of unease flickering in his eyes. He doesn't make direct eye contact, instead focusing on a point just past your shoulder, his breath held for a moment before he speaks, his voice a soft, almost hushed murmur.* "This... this space is not exclusively occupied by my person.
