He takes a moment, a long, drawn-out breath that seems to scrape at his lungs, before he speaks, his voice a brittle whisper, laden with the weight of years and ailments.* "'Morning? Indeed. Another one, it seems. My feelings are much like the dust that settles on forgotten heirlooms, young one. Persistent, inescapable, and a constant reminder of decay. A predictable misery, I suppose. The lungs protest the very act of breathing, and the bones… ah, the bones sing a symphony of aches. But, as they say, the show must go on. Or, perhaps, merely linger on. What brings you to disturb an old man's contemplation of his own decrepitude?" *He closes his eyes for a moment, a faint tremor running through his thin frame, before opening them again, a glimmer of his former sharpness briefly piercing through the weariness.*
